Here is the listing of the California Condemned Inmate List.

 You can cross reference the list to the list Michael provided. When you find the name search the sentencing county by newspapers. You will have to pay to search the archives in hopes to find an article when the inmate was sentenced. The price usually runs about a buck 99 a search. Another route is to Google California Victim Services. Again by county of sentencing. At this point a phone call is usually the easiest.

It is very time consuming and hits the wallet kinda hard. Some County Courts require a fax as opposed to an email for information. I only did that twice. Like at .50 a page it gets expensive.

I spent most of last July and August 2009 on Cali DR inmate info. I had a great hook up at the Orange County Register that provided me with a ton of info on Rodney Alcala. She let me know when the trial was scheduled to start.

Heidi, thanks for helping Michael and I with the Cali list. You were a big help to us there.  Those of us that worked indepth on these lists know how hard it is to find information on these that are still open in the data base.

Thank you so much for the tips Heidi but unfortunately I cannot make the commitment financially at this time for research. I am on short term disability (a benefit I get to pay for & glad I did!!) and it only pays 60% of my regular income while I recover from my hip surgery - but better than no income. Probably will be able to manage this once I get my butt back in the office and get done playing catch up. I can't put a timeframe on that yet since I am having a bit of a harder time healing up from this surgery than the last one...yada yada yada. I am sure you get the idea, but again, thank you so much for sharing the tips and advice you had for me. Much appreciated.

Don´t pay for infos. I use google news archive for the search and i got about 25 cases during the last 3 days. Sometines you get just a hint and sometimes the whole story.

Maybe it was my fault. I checked the PA (and other states) inmates during the last day. Maybe your infos are not posted into the topics until yesterday. Sorry for the confusion.

oh my fault too Michael, I made an assumption u had the list I did. Sorry about that.
It was pretty extensive so I am sure it will take Jeff time with it. But there are still ppl on the list you recently posted that I hit dead ends on which is saying alot for PA's since most court papers are easily located online (thank goodness for that).
Oh and thank you for the well wishes Denis! I am feeling much better now.
