She's been out on a $5000 signature bond. She also filed a paper stating her indigent-further stating she works at Speedway and her total income as $200 and 0 assets.You know who's footing the legal fees, just like her murdering brother.

Hartmann has said he must be given the same opportunity as other death row inmates to challenge the constitutionality of Ohio's execution method.

I think he decided to murder someone and therefore taking this human beeing the opportunity to see the children grow up, celebrate the year 2000, see that the US get a president with african routes, .... In my eyes he shouldn´t aks for opportunities.

Scroll down to thinikinmesaaz's second post. I had contact with Diane (his other sister) she actually referred me to this post telling me she was making reference to her meth use. Furthermore, this was a result of my commenting to her that I read another post by her in which she stated she hadn't seen nor spoke with her brother for 5 years prior to the murder because HE was always high on meth!!

I am sorry you misunderstood Jacques' post.  Jacques is a warden in a German prison who is very much for the death penalty.  His post was satirical, tongue in cheek.

Please do not get upset over it.  It was meant as a somewhat joke, but I am sure Jacques did not know a Murder Victim Family member would read his post and not understand where he was coming from.  I know Jacques would not willingly upset you and will apologize to you for the misunderstanding.

Hmmmmm nothing about being totally innocent of the crime. WTF does his artistic ability have to do with anything? Federal court delays Akron man's execution

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- A federal appeals court has delayed the April execution of an Ohio man who says he is innocent and needs more time to prove his case.

The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati agreed today to grant a short reprieve to condemned killer Brett Hartmann, scheduled to die April 7.

A three-judge panel of the court says a short delay is appropriate to determine whether Hartmann could successfully pursue a broader federal case that he is innocent.

Hartmann was sentenced to die for the fatal stabbing and mutilation of his 46-year-old girlfriend Winda Snipes in Akron on Sept. 9, 1997.

Definitely not the right decision.  . Hopefully this will be resolved quickly and justice will be done.
