BTW Jase - my brother in law is an Aus Army Captain - yup, you guessed it - helicopter engineer! Keeps those metal parts that defy gravity of Kev's flying 

My husband would LOVE to become a heli pilot - apparently being a cop isn't dangerous enough for him, he wants to fly air wing..... Although as I pointed out to him - they contract that out civilly..... Don't know whether or not they would use a cop if one of their own was qualified though

It is truly a small world!!! 5 Degrees of Separation and all that!! I would hazard a guess they would in fact PREFER one of their own up there. They would know they could trust the eyes in the sky to have THEIR best interest at heart and would use the assets at his disposal in a predictable way (to them) and they would all be working to the same outcome. Tell him to go for it. It is not that hard to do and it is a whole new world... Happy to give any advice he needs

I went to the doc yesterday
He says I may be anemic.

4 months of needle stabs in my arm they don't know.
last one was yesterday (Monday)
and excuse my french, I'm fucking tired of it.
They are checking me for being anemic, and they still can't find shit thru the blood tests, and colonoscopy
I don't know what being Anemic is, but the doc is damn sure throwing a scare into me.

Executed inmates have it better than I do, and that pisses me off.
Now the doc is talking of going into my stomach, if they wanna do that transfer me to Billings
We are all part of Billings clinic.

I wish I could contact Warden Paul Delo "Execution Protocol" for help. He oversaw several executions in Riverbend., Nashville Tennesee.

He seemed to be a good friend to us
And he would help DP supporters out even while he had to by law carry out executions.

I wouldn't want to be in his shoes, and I don't think he damn well enjoyed carrying out any execution. No warden does

All we have is Jet Ranger 208 and the Robinson

I'm not good af flying helos. I hear even most helicopter pilots can't even fly the flight sim 2004 which I have. One lifelight pilot even told me that.

And these guys fly lifeflights

Must be the thread for it guys. I hold ATPL A and H and spent many years with the Aust Army flying some good fun fling wing toys. Was day, night, NVG check captain ans well as gunnery and deck captain...


Best fun ever was the UH-1H 120 Kts and 600 pounds per hour fuel burn.. Even I can work with those numbers... Fixed wing was nothing more exciting than the B200.

Mate I cant even go close to hovering in flight sim (I use FSX and a very nice set up with 3 monitors). If you want plenty of free download aircraft go to flightsim.com (free to sign up) and download all the planes you want (basic ones are free) if you have 2004 I have a very very nice Dash 8 sim here for it you can have crt cockpit one wiht basic FS 2004 FMC in it is on DVD. It has been sitting on the shelf for years. PM me your address and I will send it to you!
