Death penalty sought in Pa. slaying of father of 4

EASTON, Pa. (AP) — Prosecutors in eastern Pennsylvania say they will seek the death penalty against a woman accused of having killed her ex-boyfriend as he slept.

Forty-two-year-old Elizabeth Collazo is charged in Northampton County in the March 15 death of 38-year-old Mark Werkheiser.

Authorities allege that she let herself into the Williams Township home she once shared with Werkheiser, the father of her four children, and shot him six times on the morning of a custody hearing.

Prosecutors said Wednesday that her execution would be justified due to the slaying and the break-in
