Picking holes?  I don't even want to know what that means.  And, no, I'm not thankful if you've posted here over 1800 times and are unable to simply follow the same sequence that your eyes have scanned over at least 5000 times. 
 
Name, state and date.  Anyone incapable of following that format can at least take solace in the fact that it'd be considered unconstitutional for them to be executed.  In fact, I think even someone teetering around the 70 mark would still likely be competent enough to post a subject title on this forum.

Really?  Are you serious HST?  Sorry cupcake, the world doesn’t revolve around you and how you think the heading of a post “should” be composed.  There are no official “rules” but everyone does try their best.   Personally I think they are doing a bang up job considering there is no paycheck involved.

Again, how is that so difficult?  No, there are no official rules on post headings, apparently.  However, I've viewed this site for well over a year now.  Just the schedule postings with a date and a state can be all the info I'm looking for.  I'd wager halft the traffic to this place is due to other people doing the same thing. 
 
Some people come here for succinct information and substantive facts.  Having to sift through ambiguity and emoticon gibberish, like what you posted above, might be entertaining for the other half.  So be it.  Me?  I prefer the meat and potatoes, like names, dates, states and AP links.  It's generally not a problem.  But the last few weeks have somewhat revealed that the quality of this site, on the info front, have diminished significantly. 
 
It just seems a tad unpolished and lazy to not just stick with what works.  Not that big of a deal, really.  Perhaps I'm wrong, but it still seems like a fairly simple thing to manage.

If you are unable to understand the expression to 'pick holes' I would suggest that you crawl back into the swamp you came from and look it up. You may also care to discover how to spell 'emotional' at the same time.

I believe that the heinous crime of forgetting to post up the state was committed by Granny B. As the elder statesman of this forum, I sentence Granny to one 'hail Mary' while hanging upside down and drinking a litre of beer all at the same time. Let us hope that this severe sentence will serve as a reminder to you that Highly Strung Turd is watching us all. 

And to HST, for being such an insufferable pontificator, I impose this Shetland upon you.

Alabama executes man for brutal 1995 murder

(Reuters) - Alabama on Thursday executed by lethal injection a man who raped, sodomized and murdered a 70-year-old woman in Tuscaloosa County in 1995.

Eddie Duval Powell, 41, was pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m. local time at the Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore, said Department of Corrections spokesman Brian Corbett.

Powell had been on death row for 12 years, and his execution was the fourth in Alabama this year.

His execution was one of two carried out on Thursday night, bringing the number of people put to death in the United States this year to 22. There were 46 executions in 2010.

Powell did not request a special last meal. He ate sandwiches, soda and corn chips from a vending machine.

"I'd like to say I'm sorry for the pain I have caused everyone who has had to deal with this situation -- my family, the victim's family and everyone in this state," he said before being put to death, according to Corbett. "I've made peace with myself and God, and hope that everyone can move on from this situation."

The family of victim Mattie Wesson lamented in a written statement that she did not get to meet four of her grandchildren or any of her four great-grandchildren.

"Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone that has walked with us during the long journey. It is a journey we did not want to take, but along the way we have been helped by so many people," the family said.

Amnesty International had urged Governor Robert Bentley to commute Powell's death sentence due to his lawyers' arguments that he had a mental disability that would render his execution unconstitutional.

Powell and a friend lived across the street from Wesson in Holt, Alabama. On the morning of March 25, 1995, Powell borrowed his friend's leather jacket and attacked Wesson in her home.

Powell's handprint was found on the window on the front of her home -- where a screen had been cut -- and his semen was found on her body. He shot Wesson and her blood was found on his pants and on the borrowed leather jacket, according to court documents.

Powell took small change and jewelry from the home. He purchased wine with mostly nickels at a nearby gas station, and jewelry similar to Wesson's was found in the pockets of the leather jacket.

Powell was tried twice. The first trial ended in a mistrial when the jury could not agree on the punishment. A second jury found him guilty of murder and recommended the death penalty, which Alabama's appellate courts upheld.

In Texas, a man who stabbed a fellow inmate in a state prison in 1999 also was executed on Thursday.

HST. These kind of posts are a waste of time and bandwidth. This site is the best DP info and resource center on the internet.  Send one of the Admins or Mods a message if you have any issues.  Posting in a thread a complaint about format is #1 the wrong place to do it. #2 won't get you results. Since you are such a stickler for meat and potatos, maybe using a "Correct Format" can start with you since you are obviously so brilliant.  Have a Nice Day

Boy, I sure would like to be you HST.  How I would love to go through life with never an oversight, or the issuance of a typographical error.  Must be awesome.

Point of fact, Granny has forgotten more about the death penalty than your pea brain will ever know.
