Pam I would glad to help as I can.
I do got some questions of watching an execution
Discovery channel just showed "the Last 24 Hours to execution"
Not a happy watch, but one must see it, if one desires to go into final aspects of crime.
I have it on tape for training purposes.
There are real executions on this film, I only got the last 30 minutes of it, starting from the cook who cooked the last meal, and it was after Texas denied the last meal to inmates, save the meals to the rest of the inmates.
What I saw is not pretty.
Inmate being strapped to the chair and being fried
Inmates being executed by lethal injection. From Experience myself they feel nothing,
lemme tell you why. I was in the hospital last week, for colonoscopy, and September 2011 for Hernia surgery
They gave me a big syringe of propofol, last time I saw it as a small needle, hooked to a thick syringe 1-2 inches thick and the drug which was white which was I say 3 inches into the needle, they injected me with it, and I was out cold within 10 seconds, and they injected it as long as they needed to. I was in ER as you might say 1.1 hours, 45 minutes longer than I need to be, as the doctor reports.
We don't use Sodium thopenthol for surgeries ans they have hard time waking patients up, sometimes for several hours, some patients never.
Point is: Inmates have it easy as we do in surgery as they do in excutions.
When they get the Sodiums, they feel nothing, as they are put to sleep and can't feel nothing.
even of the Sodium Pancuronium, or Patassium Chorlide (SP) for both.
Point is Executed inmates feel nothing when they are totally knocked out
Thus they feel nothing of the other drugs, Pancuirum Bromide (Stops the muscles) And Potassium Chloride (Stops the heart)
Each of these 2 drugs are administered surgically.
So point is No Executed inmates experience nothing than being put under or being put out.
If I had the amount of the Sodiums the inmate has, I would be dead, but what they gave brought me back to life, but kept me sleepy, Propofol did keep me alive
Why it killed Michael Jackson the child pervert I do not know.
In a Hospital setting this would have never happened.
What else can you give.
Point is, what I saw was real, and I don't want to watch it myself.
Green Mile put this to me alot.
Capt. Edgemond felt this alot in the movie
My Jr. High School, Was Mr. Edgemond
I will protect his identity at all costs.
But I need help help from you Pammie, and PRO DP guys
How do you deal with this situation.
My solution is let the executions happen, (I do support, by the courts) as the law and courts dictate, lest we got proof of innocence of the condemned (Many we do as our Justice System aquits), otherwise we fight as as we can to save an innocent person's life, and do not watch it.
Capt.
Point is no innocent person should be ever executed in this country
Hi everyone,
Ida, Michael and I cannot be online at all times so I am looking for a couple of new moderators to assist us. I will tell you right now it is a purely thankless chore (although I personally appreciate all the assistance I receive). There are no mandatory time requirements and your contributions are entirely up to you. The only thing I insist upon is the ability to remain partial and clear thinking and have the ability to back up your actions with fact not conjecture or personal reasons. Basically adhere to the rules yourself to set a proper example for the other members. And believe me, it is not easy to do, I fall short myself on occassion.
If any of you are interested please send me a message and we can discuss it.
Pam
