I have just received a phone call from Winda's mother telling me the execution will not take place April 7. Hartman wants further DNA testing and is arguing the jailhouse snitch testimony seems to be the issue. We are OK with this decision because there is no evidence what so ever to prove his innocence. We firmly believe he will further incriminate himself.

Furthermore, this was a result of my commenting to her that I read another post by her in which she stated she hadn't seen nor spoke with her brother for 5 years prior to the murder because HE was always high on meth!!

She's been out on a $5000 signature bond. She also filed a paper stating her indigent-further stating she works at Speedway and her total income as $200 and 0 assets.You know who's footing the legal fees, just like her murdering brother.

Another one to checkout. Ria J. Jones is Hartman's sister. She now has 4 counts against her.The trial is scheduled May14, 2009. Mom was at home during the raid. Looks like their lying mother will be busy for a few months, she lied about Hartmann's alibi, I wonder where she'll say her daughter was?

I never ever dreamed I would experience all of this.

The watch....Hartman claims the watch to have been left on the dresser by somebody he had sex with in his bedroom. When asked (via teleconference during the clemency) who's watch is it? He stated he didn't know her name, but yet it was left the dresser awaiting her return. He now has changed the story claiming it to be a common watch style and could have belonged to anyone. I spoke with Ella (Winda's mother), just before the clemency hearing began and she had told me she just received a package from Akron and Winda's watch was among the items. She asked me to thank Victim's Assistance and let them know it arrived safe. So, as I was reading the family letters to the board I remembered to thank VA, so I turned to them and relayed Ella's message also adding also that she told me it was a mess and they were taking it to be cleaned. The board referred to this in its report to the governor, stating further confirmation of his continual lies.

First I am Winda's friend. I live in Ohio. Winda's family resides South Carolina.  We have had an extremely rough 11 1/2 years.

Never did we know the need to prepare ourselves for these past few months. One can never ever foresee the emotional trauma we have been enduring due to the TV,newspaper and internet media.
Hartman has been portrayed as "the victim".

I urge those of who have an interest to go to both Ohio.com(the local Akron paper's web) and Akron news now. Akron news now has a picture of Hartman on its  click it. Be sure to listen to the audio portions. Also notice how Hartman is jovial during the video.

 At Ohio.com do a search either using Hartman's name or Winda Snipes. I urge you to observe the comment areas (particularly in Ohio.com). thinkinkmesa is Hartman's sister, she has some interesting lies and comments. Also some illiterate singing wannabe(thumpdabass) has acquired an attraction to Hartman so she's also given some "intellectual comments". I have been pretty well attacked by the PDP groups. Soooo...take a few moments please and post a few comments.

Right now we are at a stand still awaiting Gov. Strickland's decision regarding the stay. I will be one of the first to know the decision. I will be receiving a call from Columbus Victim Assistance about an hour and half before the decision is released. I most assuredly will quickly post it here.

If anyone has any questions regarding the case feel free to ask. Also if there's anyone who has any questions regarding the appeals or clemency procedures ask away. I did speak in front of the board in the clemency hearing, (I was told I would be given about 5 minutes to speak, I spoke for 45 minutes!)so if anyone wants any advice don't hesitate. I'll do my best to help. I'll even speak for anyone if the need arises.
