The Mexican Maid
The Mexican maid asked for a pay increase. The wife was very upset about this and decided to talk to her about the raise.
She asked, "Now Maria, why do you want a pay increase?"
Maria answered, "Well, Señora, there are tree reasons why I wanna increaze. The first is that I iron better than you."
The wife, a little put out at this assertion, asked, "Who said you iron better than me?"
Maria, without hesitation, said, "Yor huzban, he say so."
"Oh he did, did he!"
Maria continued, "Yez. The second reason eez that I am a better cook than you."
The wife, getting really upset now, offered, "Nonsense, who said you were a better cook than me?"
Again, without hesitation, Mariasaid, "Jor hozban did."
The wife now red in the face with approaching rage said, "Oh he did did he?"
"Yez, he did," Maria said, then continued, "The third reason is that I am better at sex than you in the bed."
"Oh, really!" said the wife, really boiling now, through gritted teeth. "And did my husband say that as well?"
Maria answered, "No Señora... The gardener did."
"So... how much of a raise do you want?"

Congrats again Pam - I really think that the reason is so many people are angered at how our country is going to hell in a handbasket and are sick and tired of the mambly pambly crap going on in our government.
Time to clean out Death Row the way the legal, tax paying, law-abiding citizens of the United States have said they want it cleaned out, through execution!!
And the number 1 reason this site is so popular is of course our awesome leaders Pam and GoB. You two rock!!

Kitten Resq,
you wanna kno i have proof and how i kno this, Its says on the list of 51 mexican nationals on death row in the U.S. who were not told of thier rights to contact thier consulate, and It said his Name right there, so thats how i kno, thats plenty enough to prove and that should be plenty enough to bust the state of texas too, and once again like i keep telling you, He THOUGHT they were the suspects in the burglery of his Mothers residence, but they werent and Like i keep saying IM SURE IF HE KNEW THEY WERENT THE MEN WHO DID IT, HE WOULDNT OF SHOT THEM, geez
Max,
HE THOUGHT, HE THOUGHT, HE THOUGHT……right there was his first mistake…..he thought with violence, not with the law.
Again I must inform you that ignorance of the law does not excuse it. For whatever reason, he took the law into his own hands and now he must pay the penalty. Because "he thought" they were the ones who broke into his mothers home does not excuse the fact that he was wrong . He became judge, jury and executioner for 3 innocent boys. He had the privilege of a judge, a slew of defense attorneys, every available resource to prove his innocence but was still found guilty by a jury of 12 of his peers and sentenced to death. He now has the Supreme Court of Texas and the United States who will issue his final sentence. Those poor innocent boys did not have all the privileges this man has and they paid the ultimate price for being in the wrong place at the wrong time that a murdering illegal alien with nothing but revenge coursing through his veins came looking for anyone to kill.
Why was he is the United States illegally to begin with? Why didn’t his dear sweet mamasita do anything to help her little bambino? I know that the Mexican Consulate has the option of contacting the person in jail. I don't see them coming to his defense - you have to wonder why the Mexican Consulate did not contact this man?
Excuse me, think what u want to, im not giving up that easy, Im going to everything i can, to help him and pray for him, Im going to do my best, it doesnt hurt to try, so Mr. Gomez isnt gonna die, Ill have them drop this execution if its one of the last things i ever do.
It doesn’t hurt to try and I’m sure you will do your best to help your friend, but you may have to come to the realization, that in all probability, your friend is going to die by the State of Texas. I’m not sure but I doubt that another obvious ill schooled, possibly illegal alien will get someone’s death sentence overturned, but honey, you keep just keep trying cuz your one of the “special” ones.
Oh and btw, when you become a MVS, you can tell us how we feel about the death penalty, until then, we want justice for our deceased family member.

Max,
The brutal murder of 3 INNOCENT young men is not a mistake. Here in the United States and in the State of Texas it's called COLD BLOODED MURDER.
You say he was not read his rights. How do you know this? Where you with him from the moment the first police officer put their hands on him until the day the trial began? Do you have any proof? I mean proof, not just his sayso. If you have concret proof, please post it along with the link.
Ignorance of a law is no excuse to resind his death penalty. I'm not sure how illegal aliens are raised, but I was raised that murder is not only a crime, but also a sin. I'm sure that many who are in the United States illegally are ignorant of some of the laws. This is not an excuse to break them though. Had he not been in the United States illegally, he would not have been put in the position to murder 3 INNOCENT young men who never got a chance to defend themselves.
Honey, you pray and pray for whatever and whomever you want to but in the meantime you might want to pray for the broken families of these 3 young men. Their hearts were ripped out of their bodies by this senseless crime and this person who had no regard for human life.

Max,
I'm sorry that you feel Mr. Gomez is innocent and should be released from prison, but with the laws of Texas and The United States, he committed a crime and must be punished for said crime.
You see, here in the United States and the State of Texas the punishment is decided by a jury of the guilty persons peers. This law must be upheld, by law, by the state. If the state let every convict out because a relative/friend begged for their release, then the United States would just become another Mexico, which everyone seems to want to leave just for this reason.
I understand that Mr. Gomez was in the United States illegally. That in itself is a felony. Because he was not caught prior does not mean that he was not guilty. If he is such an upstanding citizen why is he here illegally in the first place? This is a battle that is ongoing and hopefully will have an end soon.
You see hon, United States CITIZENS do not want illegals of any nationality in the United States. But the fastest they are shipped back across the border, they are right back in the US again committing horrible atrocities against LAW ABIDING CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES.
The only way anyone can guarantee that Mr. Gomez will not kill anyone again is if his punishment is carried out.
Sorry to burst your bubble hon, but this is the law of the United States of America and Texas.

In her statement to the judge, she mentioned that she is the mother of Jessica Ballew, the 3-year-old shot to death by Sidney Cornwell on June 11, 1996.
Cornwell and others had driven to an Oak Park Lane apartment, intending to shoot a rival in retaliation for an earlier incident between neighborhood gangs.
After learning that the intended victim was not home, Cornwell opened fire, killing Jessica and injuring three adults.
Cornwell is to be executed for the murder Nov. 16.

GoB, isnt there some one some where that the Pros could write to ask that Cathy's date with destiny be hurried along?
Who exactly sets the dates? Can't we write him/her/them and pled with them to hurry her to the front of the line? Hellsbells, I'd go there personally and ask on rhumatic, gnarly, occassionally hairy bended knee if it would help and if I knew who to go to.

Not only do I believe in having and using a "Death Penalty" but I believe there should be a point system on felonies and once a criminal commits enough felonies to reach that number they become eligible for the death penalty. I believe the death penalty should take place within 5 years after the sentencing.

I thought the law was concerned about cruel and unusual punishment. Anything less than what was done to the victim should not be considered as cruel.. Unusual should be reconciled by allowing one of the victims family to dispense justice with a .45 to the forehead. Do it enough and it is not so unusual. That would satisfy both arguments and alleviate a backlog.

Death by sundown the day after conviction. The alternative would be to kill the murderer in the same manner as his victim was killed. Let him choose! Enough will the lawyers and weeping liberals. Its never their child that is killed - is it?

Oh my, a convicted murder feels some pain at execution! Oh the shame of it all! Darn right he should feel pain. Why not have him feel the same pain his victim felt!
These bleeding heart liberals should keep quiet for a change. After all, they have no problem aborting a baby but can't seem to want to execute a convicted murderer. I don't understand it!

It is a shame the way convicted murderers and rapists are being coddled. After being found guilty and upon another finding of guilty on appeal, the death sentence should be carried out as soon as arrangements can be made. No more waiting and appealing. Their victims didn't get it, why should they? I'm tired of the bleeding hearts spouting their objections. Time to take our country back and put to death the killers and rapists.

If these bleedinghearts are really concerned about the poor Murderer suffering pain, might I suggest a 45-caliber Bullet to the back of his Head. The POS will never know what hit him. Ergo, the "Cruel" part of the Constitutional Provision is satisfied. Also, it is far less "Cruel" than he was to his Victims.
This method is also known as "Gangland" style Execution. Ergo, it is not "Unusual" and there are no more Arguments.

Our governmental officials and the courts are showing their insanities. It's all right to perform abortions and euthanasia, but the criminals must not suffer. Our country is spending millions for each person on death row. Get rid of all of them--not 30 years from now. Too many use Christianity as an excuse to "forgive," but the Bible doesn't say, anywhere, that murderers, rapists, child molesters, etc. shouldn't be punished.

It is so easy to do a death my lethal "injection". (Actually an IV line is used.)
Just hang a morphine drip. Turn it up to about 21 to 25 drops per minute and the deed is done. First, relaxation, then euphoria, then a suppression of the breathing reflex. Sweet surrender to a PERMANENT NAP.

Why not just decapitate the ? That will sever the spinal cord and prevent them from feeling any pain. Also, you won't have to worry about any doctors getting queasy, or about drugs expiring.
