I am not good at re-posting from other websites...but if you go to You Tube and search "Brett Hartmann interview 1" you can see the recent interview series conducted by Marc Kovac. Hartman can really whine. He conveniently left out all the evidence that proved his guilt. He even mentions a footprint in blood found in the bathroom, but forgot to say it was shown to be his. He FORGOT that the state gave him the opportunity to have anything he wanted tested, he told them to test the semen in her anal cavity and the that would show the true murderer, guess who's DNA...his. He then states he was so drunk he just couldn't remember all the details...yet states he positively left her at 3 A.M.... What a crock! I was asked if I wanted to be interviewed, but decided not to lower my standards to his pathetic level. NO evidence will show his innocence. The state quit testing because they had so much evidence gathered to prove his guilt. And also stopped presenting evidence at the trial because the evidence was so overwhelming. I can't wait for all this to be over. My friend Winda then can finally rest knowing he got his just punishment, and we can be at peace knowing we won't be bothered anymore with the media reports of his whining.

Has anyone heard from Jakib lately? I hope the family is not disappointed again.
If you are out there Jakib, we all support your family. Hopefully Winda will be able to rest in peace while PTO's greatest poster boy since Troy Davies finally pays for his crime.
Love and respect to your family Jakib, we all truly care![]()

I am here! Tomorrow we will be leaving to attend the execution on Tuesday. Winda's family members will not be able to attend. Thank you from myself and Winda's family for your support. We can't wait for all this to finally end. The local reporter, Phil Trexler, has been reporting on Hartman's execution as if it is a tragedy for Hartman these past years. So I am eager to see an end to his pathetic stories. As I stated at the clemency hearing...this isn't about Hartmann.... the focus should be on Winda's death and what he did to her.

That's ok..it just means another year will pass with him having false hopes while sitting in a cell on deathrow. May this eat at his soul!

The board unanimously recommended to the governor to proceed with the execution!!
However there was a stay issued for, I do believe the murderer's last name is Smith, about a week ago, because he filed a lawsuit objecting to Ohio's form of lethal injection. If anyone has information about this stay, please let me know. In the meantime the execution will proceed next month.

I am home...the prosecutors and victims assistance said everything went well. The board will present their decision to the governor on July 20th.

I received a letter from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and correction. A partial reading is: "The Parole Board has initiated the clemency process and is gathering all necessary information to review the death penalty case of Brett Hartman. The Parole Board will be holding a hearing on this case on July 12, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at 770 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio for the purpose of submitting a report and recommendation to the Honorable John Kasich, Governor of the state of Ohio, regarding granting any form of executive clemency." Here we go for the second time around, does anyone know if he will be granted another family visit prior to the execution?

Brett must be squirming this time. They attempted to get the date changed due to the fact Maureen O'Connor voted for the date and she was inadvertently connected to the the case during the trial because she was with the prosecutor's office then. She stepped down, they dismissed her vote and it didn't effect the decision. SORRY He petitioned the Ohio Supreme court, they refused him. SORRY AGAIN And now he is requesting a clemency hearing. What a glutten! And of course they are petitioning the governor, hmmmm what next?
I do understand that he can plead and beg until the moment he is injected, and he may even get a stay at that moment. But I also understand the mental torment he must be going through, so let him beg and continue to bring pain to himself. We are beyond that point, no matter when it happens we are ready!
He is suffering each and every moment that passes. And I definitely am OK with that, I mean once he dies the self torment will be gone then wouldn't it?

Trexler told Winda's mother and me that he was going to publish a non bias report and will include the family and friends' feelings. He only said this to us to turn around and make a mockery of the statements. An example: he called her mother in South Carolina, questioned her reaction to the Christmas card plea from Hartman. He only published the part of her statement referring it to be ridiculous, yet when he spoke with her she asked him if he was going publish all of what she said and he promised her he would. She spoke to him fondly of Winda and was excited to see he was going to print that. He didn't and hasn't. He told me it was not newsworthy.
He called after that initial interview and was politely told "WE have nothing to say" And to this day we have nothing to say to him.
You asked why it took so long, at first the stay was issued contingent on a decision on a DNA appeal that was pending on a US Supreme Court decision regarding post DNA testing in the state of Alaska. The court ruled no after several months, we have been waiting for the execution date to once again be set. Now it has been once again set, and now we face same old-same old request for his so called "rights", appeals of how cruel the death penalty is etc. and basically begging for his life. As per all death row inmates he is searching for a "waldo": looking everywhere for a way to worm out of the consequences for his actions!

Here we go again...6 months of shear agony ahead of us. The time has now come again for the overkill of news reports reminding us of the torture and disgusting and disrespectful treatment by Hartman of Winda.
It is a shame that a person, who has overwhelmingly been proven by the courts to be guilty of heinously murdering and mutilating my dear friend, has been given so many years by the state to falsely beg for his life while he gave Winda not even a moment.

They beg for DNA testing of a few items irrelevant to the murder. How about the numerous relevant items that have been tested and proven him to be guilty? How about all of his and many others' testimonies proving his guilt? All the mounds of physical evidence? All this outweighs any ounce of imaginary innocence ,
Hartman not only tortured Winda at her death, but he continues to torture her friends and family with years and years of public outcries of false innocence via the press. Shame on Phil Trexler, the local reporter, for selling himself to the devil for the sake of sensationalism. I hope by reporting in the manner that he has, peace will never find its way to his doorstep.

You are probably correct in that March is possible. I'd prefer it to be a time when we don't have snow since wewould be traveling south through the snow. HOWEVER---- anytime is the right time. I have been told that the governor should let this finally happen!!! I'm ready for justice and peace finally to take place!!!!

Hello. Well now, the Supreme Court has shot down the Osbourne request for more DNA testing in Alaska. Soooo....let's see what these scumbags are going to request. Just maybe they are too busy attempting to for fight his sister [Ria Jones'] innocence in the meth lab bust in the basement when "Mommy dearest" was home? Read about this circus of events at Summit County clerk of courts.com. Do a criminal record search under her name. Click on dockets. Then click the documents and read away. This is an example of our tax monies being wasted on a low life, welfare sucking piece of trash [in my opinion]. The last time I checked it, her attorney requested a motion to withdraw-citing an " absolute breakdown of communication and further representation is impossible." Hmmmm imagine that! Just maybe her brother Brett could represent her since we paid for his supposedly "legal" education while in prison. I mean after all he did perform the marriage of his nephew during his final visit prior to his scheduled execution. That meant nothing!!!!

Personnaly I smell two more stays.

So....so true Jacques! I've been told it will be about 3 months before this thing in Alaska gets settled. So we'll be hearing repetitive stays granted for these poor "innocent murderers" for a while.
It's as though our government is confusing our prison systems with dog kennels, "stay, boy, stay"!

It's nice that there will be another DNA test but I'm more concerned with the phone records. If he was indeed home on the phone when the clock was stopped that would pretty much prove Hartman's innocence since he can't be two places @ the same time.
Also he can't help who he befriends on death row; We all need companionship and he isn't exactly a resident of a boy scout camp.

Maybe a little intelligence is needed here. He maybe murdered her at the time on the clock in the A.M.
Or maybe he changed the time on the clock making sure he was on the phone at that time. Or maybe even the clock wasn't plugged in, etc., etc, etc. He can use any of these for the truth. oops i forgot he doesn't tell the truth
