I don´t care what they found (or not) in prison. Religion is part of their privacy and normaly not a big issue for the public.

Michael

I agree with you. What I have issue with is these people who use this as a means to get out of an execution or to garner sympathy from the public. A lot of inmates will use religion as a way to garner sympathy, and there are people who really want to believe that since they have found God, they are a better person for it. I just see it as a ploy to get out of a deserved punishment.

I'd probably feel too sick and nervous to eat..............but I would order:

12 ounce sirloin, medium rare
loaded baked potato
corn on the cob
tiramisu
Cuban espresso
Most of it is stuff I can't eat much of right now because of my diet. It isn't as if I am going to care if I gain weight!

I would put the veteran and his wife up as my heros of the hour.   :-*

Thank God he had a gun and could defend himself, or he and his wife would have been the statistic instead of the armed intruder. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

OH SHOOT!  That's one less for the antis on PTO to take up his cause and worship as innocent.   One less for them to mourn over and masturbate with his ashes!

I can just hear them on PTO now:

"Thet nassy ole vetrin done killt that wonnafull man, and all he reely wants uz jus to use the fone n' giv em  reelllly big hugz.  Gawd amitey.  They uz sure qik on a trigga finga." ;)

;D Oh GoB, that was priceless.

Good on Mr. Army vet for shooting an intruder. We need more guys like him. Maybe he should go down to the Arizona border and lend a gun.....I mean, a hand....

Mexican Embassy Green Lights Illegal Border Crossers
by  Connie Hair
05/27/2010

The Embassy of Mexico has announced to Mexican nationals already in America illegally as well as any potential illegal border crossers they should disregard the Obama announcement of the deployment of 1,200 National Guard troops to the U.S. border.

It’s okay.  You can remain in America illegally and cross at will into the United States illegally -- and send your money back to Mexico.  The troop deployment makes no difference on the illegal immigration front.

They don’t even bother to pretend anymore.

In its official statement on the troop deployment, Mexico says that it “… expects the National Guard… will not, in accordance to its legal obligations, conduct activities directly linked to the enforcement of immigration laws.”

That blows a big hole in the President’s claims he is sending National Guard troops to assist in securing the border.

Even the Mexican Embassy doesn’t take Obama seriously.

The full statement:

STATEMENT BY THE EMBASSY OF MEXICO

Washington D.C, May 25th, 2010

Regarding the Administration’s decision to send 1,200 National Guard servicemen to the US Southern border, the Government of Mexico trusts that this decision will help to channel additional US resources to enhance efforts to prevent the illegal flows of weapons and bulk cash into Mexico, which provide organized crime with its firepower and its ability to corrupt.

Additionally, the Government of Mexico expects that National Guard personnel will strengthen US operations in the fight against transnational organized crime that operates on both sides of our common border and that it will not, in accordance to its legal obligations, conduct activities directly linked to the enforcement of immigration laws.

Mexico is determined to continue working on its side of the border to enhance the security and well-being of border communities, and to deter and dismantle organized crime and its links to drug trafficking and human smuggling.

As part of our joint strategy in the fight against transnational organized crime, there are actions that our two governments have undertaken together, and there are other measures taken independently by Mexico and by the US within their respective territories. In this regard, the Mexican Government fully respects the sovereign decisions of the US Government, but underscores that joint responsibility must continue to underpin our joint efforts in rolling-back transnational organized crime operating on both sides of the border.

Another example of just how "effective" our government is at combating "ILLEGAL ALIENS" >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

OH MY GOD. I don't even know how to respond this. This makes me MAD MAD MAD. >:( >:( >:( >:(

This is becoming pretty serious pretty fast. Now we have terrorists from other countries coming in through Mexico?

It's time for armed guards in watch towers.

Bot sure, but I think this is just a "problem" in a male facility.  ;)

Michael

I would think it would be a problem in a women's facility as well, plenty of them have kids. You're really good at making me feel stupid.

Why isn't donotjudge over at PTO with the rest of the thug huggers? oh wait, I know why. He is one of those who feels the need to spew his nonsensical liberal bias all over pro DP people because he thinks  he may shame us into his beliefs. Not gonna happen.

This is disgusting. She should be on DR. Poor baby Jacob.

I hear that they don't like baby killers in prison.

What a horrible crime. Poor Edwinta. I hope they catch the murderous thug who did this to her. Only 19 years old, she had her whole life ahead of her.

I don't understand why they don't want this scumbag to be executed. If it was me who had lost a loved one, I would want to shoot him myself.

I think this kid is old enough to know that he committed a crime and he should be punished for it.

I was wondering, can he be tried as an adult?

on: May 27, 2010, 01:23:29 AM 14 General Death Penalty / Executed Offenders (Graveyard) / Re: John Alba - Texas - 05/25/10

I agree that the celebrating can be a bit unnerving, it was for me too, but as someone who is pro-DP I understand it, and now that I am used to it, it doesn't bother me a bit. Most (if not all) of the offenders on DR cannot be rehabilitated. They waste tax payer resources  with endless appeals and silly lawsuits. They have committed heinous, ugly crimes that have no doubt destroyed families and communities. They deserve their punishment. The DP is not there to satisfy bloodlust. Can you imagine what our prison system would be like if we didn't have the death penalty? There wouldn't be room for anymore prisoners, anywhere. People would be committing a lot more crimes, knowing that they would never really have to pay for it. Prison isn't a good enough deterrent on its own. Many of these scumbags are career criminals. Going to prison isn't something that worries them. Toss in a death sentence, now they have something to fear, because even if they sit on the row for 30 years, the state IS GOING TO KILL THEM. If that isn't a deterrent, I don't know what is.

I do sympathize with the families of criminals. It's really got to suck being related to a heartless dirtbag who places no value on human life. I do not, however, sympathize with bleeding heart liberals who seem to think that killers need to be coddled and treated like human beings. If you harm another human being, than you lose your right to be a member of the human race. I also have no patience for anyone who feels the need to denigrate the victim and their families in order to further their anti DP agenda. The victim has rights and so does their family and friends. They deserve my sympathy.

These anti DP people need to get off their high horse.

I read a news article on Jose Madrigal this morning and I am surprised he isn't in prison. He needs to be locked up and the key conveniently lost. DIRTBAG!
