The Bott Family is in Texas.  Rob Bott was my cousin.  He was an only child, like me.  He was like my big brother.  His mom (my aunt) has lived for this day to see Joshua Maxwell pay for what he did to her ONLY child.  She will get to witness JM's execution, and I hope and pray it will bring the closure she is looking for.  Rob left behind a daughter and son.  They will be in Huntsville, along with their mother (Rob's ex-wife).  The kids are over 18, but I believe neither they nor their mother will be viewing.  Rob's parents are divorce.  His father had a heart attack a few weeks ago, so  is unable to  attend.  My aunt's husband will be with her, and she also knows the Lopes Family.

123gone i know exactly how u feel. the hurt from both family extends to aunts uncles nephews nieces cousins n friends. yes we both lost a great guy.  i met ur aunt n uncle when they were here for the trial, they r wonderful people. i will also be there in huntsville. n we will all celebrate maxwells death.

ur not gonna believe this but i just read n artical on mysa.com, maxwell says hes changed alot he loves his kids an regrets the lopes family is going thru this. he also said he doesnt want to die  , n he does deserve to be locked up no doubt about it but being killed is not goin to solve anything.

HOW do we know that he solicited McFarland for sex?  WHOSE word was that?  Maxwell's and McFarland's?!  They're are sociopathic murders, convicted by the way.

How do we know EXACTLY what happened?  I mean, do we have any proof that the encounter went beyond just a visit to a strip club?  Maybe something dragged Lopes out of there other than sex?  Maybe McFarland and Maxwell tried some other angle and later pinned it on sex. 

I'm not saying that it was not a sexual proposition.  Maybe there was compelling evidence that proves that it was, but all that I have seen is that McFarland and Maxwell said that is how they did it and that is how it was. 

I'm just asking...has anyone read transcripts from the trial?  What evidence proves that he was soliciting her for sex and possibly not just leaving the strip joint when she came up to him in the parking lot and said, "hey, remember me?"  "I've got a flat over her and wondered if you'd help me out?" At which time he was jumped from behind by Maxwell and conked on the head.

i feel the same way, they could make up n e story n we will never no the truth behind it all. cant wait for march 11 lets celebrate we will have one less killer n the country.

Maxwell, it is all about you isn't it.  Your children were there near the prison and YOU could not visit them.  Well boo hoo, you POS!  Lopes children cannot see their father because you killed him for drug money!  Lopes children have been hurting for their father all these years and they have not seen their father either.  Remember, he is 6 feet under, right where you sent him.  Lopes children have to go to a graveyard to visit their father and they can't see him or talk to him either.  Because of you, he did not get to raise his children.

So what makes you so SPECIAL that you should be allowed to see your children, when Lopes children cannot see their father?  That is only right and fitting that your children should not see or be influenced by a monster like you?  Live with it!  Lopes died for it!

And I guarantee that Lopes children are much more hurt than your children are right now.  Thankfully your children only know you through the ignorance of their mother and your dysfunctional family.  I certainly hope they don't turn out like you did, considering who is raising your children.  If they raise them like they raised you, it will only be a matter of time till some of your kids are where you are now.  Let's hope someone with better sense than your family has will step in and help your kids to avoid your fate.
