I think that after the botched Casey Anthony and OJ Simpson trials, the jury's are finally wising up and actually listening to what is being said in the courtrooms.

Jodi Arias and Kermit (the frog) Gosnell both got what they deserve.  Now if we could only put them both on the fast track to the needle.

Here is an update on Ali's progress posted with permission of Pam:

Ali will be going home with Pam, Pam's Mom and baby Catherine on Friday as it stands now.  This is not a good thing as Ali is still in terrible pain and almost completely paralyzed. 

The house is being readied for someone who has to use all the equipment associated with Ali's disease. 

Ali still has a very long and very rough road ahead of her and so will Pam as she will be Ali and Catherine's primary caregiver.  Since Pam has been back in Florida she has spent every waking moment with Ali at the hospital, day and night. 

Please say a quick prayer for all of them as they really need a lot of them now and in the future.

Pammy, we love you!!   The site will be here for you when you get back.

So because the lawyers, who for all intents and purposes are suppose to know the law, missed the filing dates the courts are entertaining the idea that this cop killer should be allowed to continue to breathe the same air as non-cop killers are? 

Even lawyers should understand the importance of a "DEADline" right?   

Texas executes man who lit ex-girlfriend on fire

Texas has executed a death row inmate convicted of killing his former girlfriend at her apartment by dousing her with gasoline and setting her on fire.

Forty-eight-year-old Carl Blue was executed by lethal injection Thursday evening.

Blue was convicted of the September 1994 death of 38-year-old Carmen Richards-Sanders at her apartment in Bryan, a town about 100 miles northwest of Houston.

Prosecutors said the attack was the result of jealousy. Blue said it was a prank gone wrong.

The U.S. Supreme Court rejected his final appeal shortly before the execution. His death was the first execution this year in the nation's most active death penalty state.
