on: January 23, 2013, 11:50:01 AM 4 Forum Rules and Information / Introductions / Unfinished Business!!!

Hi, I'm a newbie. Being from Ohio and transplanted into Tennessee. I've always believed in the DP but not the merciful kind. I think they should be killed as they choose to mercilessly kill. I know that makes me sound like a cruel and bitter person but I am actually just the opposite.  I do have unfinished business in seeing the murderer of my son's father that has sat on DR for many many years now still to meet the hands of JUSTICE!
The state of Ohio has yet to put david sneed on the list. His accomplice is out on parole. That's not justice for my Butch!
I raised our son whom I'm proud to say is a fine man of 2 sons and a great father himself. He was much to young to remember his dad but only has to look in the mirror to see what he looked like.  He even has his laugh, his mannerisms, his walk. I didn't know for many years that Butch had been murdered. I had this unbeieveable pulling feeling that I listened to and went back to Ohio to look for him but to no avail.
I was very concerned about Butch's drinking when I was young, I had never seen anyone litterally have the shakes til he got a drink. To tell the truth it scared the hell out of me and as much as I loved him. I loved this innocent baby boy more and I had to protect him. So in my young cunning mind if I don't go after him for child support,he won't get legal visitation.  The last time he saw his son,he was 17 months old.
I didn't know he'd joined the Navy, got off the drinking and straighten out his life a bit. Butch had a heart a big as the sun and would help anyone if they asked.  He definitely didn't deserve what happened to him but I think they would have killed him anyway even if he would've given them his money.
I went on doing the best I could and answered all the questions I could about his dad. When he got old enough we hired a private investgator to find him. And find him he did. It breaks my heart that I was soo young.
I feel like I'll let Butch down if I don't see this through.  He's never been far from my thoughts all these years. When I look at my son I see him. His big head, his brown eyes,I don't think that boy got anything from me. My brains,he did graduate and went to college. No,I didn't! But do as I say not as I do.....
I would welcome any ideas you have that I can do to get an execution date set. Buttons to push a paticular butt to point my foot toward. I need help in this process,PLEASE......
Many,many thanks, Lisa

Court: Judges cannot indefinitely delay appeals

Posted: Jan 08, 2013 9:32 AM CST Updated: Jan 08, 2013 9:35 AM CST

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Supreme Court says federal judges cannot indefinitely delay a death row inmate's federal appeals to see if the convict can become mentally competent enough to help his lawyer.

The high court unanimously ruled Tuesday against Arizona death row inmate Ernest Gonzales and Ohio death row inmate Sean Carter.

Inmates appealing state death sentences to federal court have a right to a lawyer. But the courts never said whether the inmates have to be mentally competent enough to help their lawyers with their federal appeals. Gonzales and Carter wanted the high court to say that federal judges have discretion to hold up proceedings indefinitely until the inmates are ready.

Justice Clarence Thomas says "at some point, the state must be allowed to defend its judgment of conviction."
And the people said AMEN!

Dear Abby,[/size]My husband has a long record of money problems. He runs up huge credit-card bills and at the end of the month, if I try to pay them off, he shouts at me, saying I am stealing his money. He says pay the minimum and let our kids worry about the rest, but already we can hardly keep up with the interest. Also he has been so arrogant and abusive toward our neighbors that most of them no longer speak to us. The few that do are an odd bunch, to whom he has been giving a lot of expensive gifts, running up our bills even more. Also, he has gotten religious. One week he hangs out with Catholics and the next with people who say the Pope is the Anti-Christ, and the next he's with Muslims.. Finally, the last straw. He's demanding that before anyone can be in the same room with him, they must sign a loyalty oath. It's just so horribly creepy! Can you help?Signed, LostDear Lost,Suck it up and stop whining, Michelle. You're getting to live in the White House for free, travel the world, and have others pay for everything for you. You can divorce the jerk any time you want. The rest of us are stuck with the idiot for 4 more years.Signed, Abby

on: December 07, 2012, 02:27:01 PM 11 General Death Penalty / Case Watch / Arrest made in Pottawatomie County killing

Authorities in Pottawatomie County have arrested an 18-year-old man in the shooting death of a college student.

Sheriff Mike Booth says Generro Sanchez, 18, was found dead in a ditch near Asher on Thursday. Authorities say he was a student at East Central University.

The sheriff says Jerrod Murray, also an ECU student, has been arrested on a murder complaint in the death.

An affidavit alleges that Murray told investigators that he “wanted to go kill somebody.”

Authorities arrested Murray while he was walking on U.S. 177 shortly after the shooting. The affidavit claims that Murray targeted Sanchez because he “didn't have many friends.”

If this doesnt merit the death penalty I dont know what would. This monster studied and chose his victim and carried out the evil act.

on: December 06, 2012, 04:04:25 PM 12 Forum Rules and Information / Introductions / how much longer can a person get away with murder?

I don't know if you have heard of Tammy Jarschke, Tanya Jones. or Cathy Graves?   They were all tortured/murdered, by Joseph Michael Nissensohn.  Tammy, my daughter, was 13 at the time, her friend, who was also killed that same day, was 14 years old.

This happened in 1981, in the upper Carmel Valley, Chews Ridge area, of Carmel, California.  Unfortunately, 2 more murders have taken place, by the alleged serial killer, one of which he has served time for, and the other, Cathy Graves, who was killed in such a manner, as Tammy and Tanya, it has  been decided, by a Judge,  to be added to this, making it a triple homicide case, if and when it finally comes to trial....

Joe has been formally charged with his crimes, going on almost 5 years now,  and has stalled, prolonged, and made requests for right to a speedy trial, change of venue.... motion after motion, to delay this case.

My family and I are wishing everyday, that soon this horrific, tragedy, will be over, and justice can be served.....   31 years is such a long, long time, to be patient.

I have been told, we can look forward to the beginning of the trial process to begin, next year, starting with the jury selection, which should be in May 2013.....that I was told will take possibly, 2 months, as they will have to interview 200-300 possible jurors......oh geez...this just keeps going on and  on.

Two of our key witnesses,  in the all circumstancial case have died, one was his ex-Wife, who testified against him in the previous murder trial, and his best buddy, who turned states witness.

Gee, they are both dead now.....That's suspicious, to me....I really feel sometimes, that the monster, will walk away, from his vicious crimes.
There are many other murders he has commented, in 4 other states, who knows how many.  What a tremendous loss of life, by one so mean, and unfeeling.

I have been told, he will never be a free man, but, I am loosing hope.  Please pray, for Tammy, Tanya, and Cathy.  They need all your prayers.
Thank you,
Penny

My official job title is "Companion Animals Training and Education Officer" which means i get to help the community as a dog trainer employed by a Local Government. But the end of the School year is my favorite time!!! Today My dog and I met over 200 kids from prep (pre year 1) to year 4 and had the chance to talk about bite prevention and responsible pet ownership. Tomorrow we have 200 more from 5-7 for more of the same. Friday is the same at a different school. I get to make life safer for children and better for dogs at the same time!!! The best bit is i get to take my dog to work every day!!! Every normal day I get to go out into the community and talk one on one to dog owners to help resolve barking problems in the community!! I also do community dog education programs from helping young adults care for their dogs, know where to responsibly get them from and what they need to keep them safely. I do antenatal classes (bringing a new baby home to a house with a dog) and adult bite avoidance classes!!!

Just wanted to brag about my job and the fact I get to take my dog to work every day!!!

Dear Texas,

As a lifelong resident of California, I have seen that you are requesting to secede from the United States.  Bravo!

Prior to leaving I would like to ask a favor of your great state.  Would you please provide the California Department of Justice your "Rules for a Successful Execution" handbook?

Thank you,
