Hello from Germany,

For years I am puzzled by the strange legislation here in Europe,
I was already beginning to question my own sanity - until I found
this wonderful site that shares my thoughts 100% !

Here in Germany, most defendants that deserve capital punishment are
being sent home with a ridiculous 2-years-on-probation penalty.
I wish it was more like in the fantastic USA, where society takes
the liberty to cleanse itself from those individuals that do not
play by the rules. Even more I fancy the practice in China, where
a death sentence has to be executed within a week - this is even more
effective than US practice, and surely does not take those immense sums
of tax payers money to feed those who should no longer walk the surface
of our earth. Executions in China are sometimes celebrated as public
shows, a tradition that has been discontinued here for no apparent
reason. Some hundred years ago witches were burned all over Europe,
and it served a similar purpose as in nowadays more practically
oriented nations as China and the USA: Cleanse society of unwanted
parasitic individuals that do not contribute to society. I wish I could
turn back time and put the forefathers of our liberal system to the stake!
