After reading the case facts of a death row inmate, which are almost always disturbing and disgusting, I would have no problem offing the scumbag. I wouldnt necessarily look at it as a great thing to do, but as a just thing to do. I doubt I would lose much sleep I would be thinking about the victim and their family and friends more so than the coward murderer.

Wish we could contact this judge to tell him how ridiculous this decision is. 28 years on death row and now given a new sentencing hearing? Thats a total joke. The only time the DP will be carried out in PA. is if the inmate drops their appeals, and even then its probably a 50/50 on whether they get a stay for a lame reason. And we know 99% of murderers on death row are cowards and would rather live in prison rather than face death so they keep appealing. Like I said, what a joke, i feel for these victims families in Pennsylvania.

Keeping my hopes down for this one since the DP in Penn. is a joke. I hope it goes through, why have the DP if youre not going to use it. If this doesnt go through just end the DP here, why keep the victims families waiting for justice they think they deserve that will never come.

Im really hoping this one goes through, a lot of executions Im looking forward to right now, this is one at the top of the list. What a loser.

C'est l' exception qui confirme la regle

You do, and you'll clean it up! ;D

Yep, never full closure too many, hopefully some sense of justice served, and the end of that chapter.

Was a good couple weeks, glad to see this punk gone. Also glad we dont have to worry about his partner in murder breathing our air. Actually, murders.

Oba Chandler is one of those names that when I saw it on the executions list I I let out a  very pleased "yeessss!" Total scumbag, notorious crime, not that there arent plenty of those, but Chandlers crime sickens me more than many do.  Sets up a mother and her two daughters, gaining there trust somehow, then terrorizes them on his boat, raping and killing them all, two of them teenagers. Hopefully theres no stays for this scumbag, he deserves the death needle, even if it is 20 years late.

on: April 01, 2010, 12:01:22 PM 8 General Death Penalty / Executed Offenders (Graveyard) / Re: Kevin Scott Varga - Texas - 05/12/10

I love when a capital murderer describes the execution of an inmate as 'murder'.  "Tomorrow, a man is going to be murdered by the state of Texas, his name is Michael Sigala."  Its said as if its some disgusting act to which they are above, and as if its something they have not and would not ever commit. Ridiculous.

And I do feel bad for Varga's sister and family. Varga showed them the same amount of respect he showed his victim, he's fully to blame for the pain they have to now go through.

on: April 01, 2010, 07:42:32 AM 9 General Death Penalty / U.S. Death Penalty Discussion / Re: Cam Ly - Pennsylvania - 4/20/2010

Of course neither of these two will get the needle on these dates. The DP in Pennsylvania is so frustrating,  I believe they sentence a good amount of murderer to death, but carry out none of the sentences. Why even have the death penalty and give a victims family and friends that hope of seeing justice if you're going to give 70 years worth of appeals?

And I also would be very happy to see Wesley Cook strapped to the gurney. I get sick seeing people who claim his innocence.

My reservations on CP in the USA are put into sharp focus here. Without a doubt, Alix was a deserving candidate but one cannot help thinking how different the situation is with Frank Skinner, who is still alive. I cannot help feeling that he is so because he is white.

Since the death penalty was reinstated in 1976, 675 whites were executed as compared to 408 blacks. Playing the race card is lame and bogus and makes you sound foolish.
