Oklahoma City Police tell News 9 while trying to apprehend Thompson in an area near NE 16th St. and N. Coltrane Rd., a struggle ensued and the bondsman opened fire at Thompson. Thompson managed to get away into a wooded area nearby, but it is unclear if any of the bondsman's shots struck Thompson.

K9 units and OKCPD's Air One have been called in to assist with the search.

This POS was bonded out thru the bail bond office where my daughter is now working.  Those assholes "borrowed" her car to go after this guy today, when this happened!  The last time they "borrowed"  her vehicle, the perp deliberately an into the side of it, a couple of months ago, and it still has not been repaired. Thak God she was not in her car when it happened.

He is still on foot trying to get away.
" Closure? Closure is a misused word in the English language.  There is no such thing as closure for the family of a murder victim.  There will never be any closure for the death of our loved ones until we are dead ourselves.  The families have a lifetime sentence of anguish and sadness."
